Day 361, Tuesday, December 31, 2024

Day 361, Tuesday, December 31, 2024

Three cheers for completing your year-long journey of mindful writing meditation practice! Today is a good day to journal! Here are a few prompts to get you started.

  • How do you feel? Overwhelmed? Content? Proud?
  • How is your focus on daily tasks now compared to before you began this journey?
  • Do you find yourself going deeper into meditating, journaling, creating, and reading than ever before?
  • How has your writing/journaling skill honed?
  • How has your sense of awe and wonder over nature and the simple things in daily life changed?
  • Have you started to travel or have you become more mindful during your regular travels?
  • Do you spend time in solitude?
  • What small daily goals have you added?
  • What do you now view as your life’s purpose?

The year has passed by too fast but you have cultivated good daily habits. You are more aware. You are more mindful. You have learned how to practice breathing. How to reduce the number of passing thoughts. Pouring the thoughts in your journal has become a habit. Who can be a better companion than your own notebook, your personal therapist? Many of you have finished reading Unblock Your Creative Flow. That was the first reading. What about starting again? And then again? Remember, three times is magic. You can sow the seed of going on this journey again and then again and experience the vigor and vitality of creativity, and peace and contentment of sitting still in silence.

Proud, proud, proud! I did it… all 366 days. Unblocking, creating, connecting. My last card was dropped in the mailbox and is on its way. It’s been an amazing (yet challenging) year. Proud that I set the difficult goal and stuck to it. I’m energized for the new year and new goals. Cheers to a great 2025 for all.
